Pt. Veronica Lodge
Bed & Breakfast Homestay in Opua, Bay of Islands New Zealand
We, Audrey and John, would like to welcome you to our home at Pt. Veronica, Opua. Our place is nesteled into a reserve and overlooks the Bay of Islands.
We have spent many years looking for that special place in the world and we would like to share our find with you. We have two friendly dogs, Bonnie & Clyde, who live on the lower deck.
Location
- Historic Waitangi Treaty House, the golf course and Paihia with its shops and restaurants are just a few minutes' drive away. You can visit Russell via the car ferry at Opua or passenger ferry from Paihia's Wharf.
The Paihia/Opua coastal walkway passes just below our home. It offers fabulous views and small coves along the track.
Accommodation
- We offer accommodation in three queen bedrooms: one with private bathroom and two with en-suites. All bedrooms have T.V. and Sky channels and Internet access are available in the lounge.
Cooked or continental breakfast is included; evening meals are by arrangement.
Activities
- Beautiful coastal bush walks to Opua (~ 50 min) and to Paihia wharf (~ 1½ hrs).
Relax on our decks and enjoy the birds and views in a peaceful setting or soak in our large spa pool.
Boat hire, fishing and sightseeing trips are all available locally.
