UNITY

May all who seek this Path see clearly the beauty of Life

Words are symbols some carrying more energy of thought than others. The word "unity" applies to every aspect of Life and represents understanding that links all activities of consciousness and form together. Such a simple and often used word that so frequently gets lost as we go about our daily lives; but what vast knowledge it represents.

Contemplation or meditation on this word will prove to be most interesting and useful, hopefully opening up areas of thought that can be applied initially in our immediate lives and increasingly to the benefit of the human kingdom.

Unity when successfully achieved is the result of efforts to overcome illusion and glamour and can be regarded as an aspect of the Universal Law of Magnetism. Where there is unity the energy of purpose is the magnetising force, and the consequent in flowing of energy from the soul always improves the conscious abilities of either the individual or the group.

The concept of unity is definitely not new to humanity and our ability to respond to this energy can clearly be seen both in the world of today and our past endeavours. Collective energy such as that produced by unity when intelligently directed towards the benefit of all people creates the possibilities of achievement not able to be reached by the individual.

As the human kingdom progresses and increasingly becomes more inter-dependant, the importance of unity is very apparent. No individual person, race or nation can survive or develop sensibly without the active assistance of others.

The very fundamental nature of unity is that without this energy no developments between the soul and man can occur. The concept of this regard is held in the awareness that Love is the uniting force of Life.

Unity can therefore be seen to have a dual direction. Without the energy flow from the soul possibilities of growth in each of us can never be achieved. Where there is no unity with each other in our daily lives illusion prevails and dominates all other activities of energy.

Unity needs to be regarded as between soul and man and man and all other lives that share the same existence. All of us are responsible for developing the energy of unity within the human kingdom and this can be seen without difficulty amongst those people who respond to life with intelligent constructive intent based on Light and Love. Such men and women are to be found giving practical assistance to others both directly and indirectly. This can be in many differing fields but all will be displaying the quality of humanitarian awareness.

These people, frequently without realising, develop the energy of the unity and purpose that will be the principal feature of future humanity.

As individual people begin to successfully apply the practical energy of unity in their daily lives, others are attracted to the work that is being done. Often the new arrivals may not have a fully developed appreciation of this energy and can respond in a somewhat confused

manner, creating difficulties in the process. Generally this is not intentional and with intelligent understanding and patience based on Love this can quickly be overcome, allowing the uniting energy to increase.

Occasionally there can be the infrequent arrival within a group actively working with unity of someone who is completely opposed to any form of development in this area. Intentional and often subtle approaches at destroying constructive activities are quite normal. When clearly regarded such people will be found to be greatly blinded by illusion and glamour. Usually the astral or emotional body is excessively developed and the connection to the soul has been weakened by inactivity causing the flow of energy of Light and Love to be restricted.

Unity for these people will reside in the power of the group over all other life and their attempts will be to establish this energy of thought and place themselves at its centre. However obscure it may seem, they have their purpose and no matter how hostile to the uniting energies of Light and Love they may appear to be, within them is the Divine Spark.

The human kingdom has many forms of expression and we are far from the state of consciousness where we can regard the Plan that brings us together.

Where a group which is working intelligently and practically to establish the uniting energy of Light, much needed by humanity, comes in contact with subtle, hostile disruption, gentle but firm reaction needs to be used. That which is dark today can quite easily be the light of tomorrow.

Often such people carry with their actions a gift of good use and value to a group, one which may take time and effort to recognise. The concept that our greatest enemy is frequently our greatest friend, is not new. When we work with the uniting energy of Light and Love expressed through the awareness of the brotherhood hood of man and come into contact with people who find great discomfort in these efforts, allow them their own path.

If we cease to use energy to change that which should not be changed, and focus more on the Path we have chosen, much will be able to be achieved. Discernment when we use energy is an ability we all need to clearly comprehend and apply.

In this period of planetary and solar energy change, the effect most apparent in the human kingdom will be in the polarisation of consciousness expressed by group unity. Although a rather general description this can be seen in the following way.

One group will be focused in all the areas of practical humanity that we have presently developed, it will also include those people who seek greater understanding and ability to work with the spiritual energies of Light and Love. The majority of this group will be actively working at overcoming illusion and glamour, and attempting to develop the soul, mind, and brain to improve the natural flow of energy.

These people will be of all races, cultures and nations as the uniting energies of Light and Love will not be restricted by the borders created by man. There are many thousands of such men and women working constructively in all areas of human endeavour, seeking to improve that which they see about them for the benefit of all. This is known as the Right Hand Path.

The second group is essentially opposite in its intentions. Here unity is directed towards the power of the group, with the aim to dominate all others who refuse to respond to the collective intent. These activities are characterised by people who are greatly confused by illusion and glamour and find extreme difficulty in recognising clearly the relationship of man to either the world lived in or the Life we all express.

Individual, social, racial and national borders are of importance and define the nature of this group, which has difficulty in responding with humanitarian understanding to anyone who lives outside these limits. Astral blindness is encouraged by the increased use of lower psychic energy that is often directed towards spirit worship or black magic.

The desire body is stimulated where ever possible, particularly the centre that controls regeneration. Distortions of sexuality are common and encouraged.

Materialism is the only goal and any attempts to recognise the brotherhood of man, or the need for its development based on Light and Love are discouraged.

Traditionally the colours red and black are used in all group activities.

This is known as the Left Hand Path.

Although perhaps difficult to understand, this latter group had its origins in the period of our history referred to as Atlantis. Conflict appeared between both groups responding to a change of energy in that time of our development, which eventually, after much upheaval, saw the birth of men and women with the beginnings of the mental capacities we presently display.

The activation and development of the astral body and the ability to work with this energy was both the great achievement and eventual downfall of Atlantis. Many of the capacities of that time are unable to be used by modern man as the present focus is towards the the use of mind. When we reach the level of consciousness caused by a greatly improved bond between soul and man, displayed in increased intuitional capacity, such astral energies previously used by men and women once more will become active. The door that was closed will open again.

The polarisation by man in this present period is not too dissimilar to the time of Atlantis. However the levels of psychic energy are far less as many of the illusions and glamours of man are being dissipated by our efforts encouraged by the Brothers of Light, who are well aware of the difficulties we all work under.

Although the human kingdom is not properly prepared for this incoming cycle of energy, hopefully it will be the last time we respond to an event of this importance in such a manner.

Where we stand in this period, either on the right or on the left, determines the future of every individual and collectively the human kingdom. Regard with intelligence all the encouragement and energy that has been directed towards all of us by the Brothers of Light and the Son of God. How we respond effects all Life.
