previous Index next Throughout the long event of evolutionary growth in consciousness that the human kingdom has been engaged in, one which is far longer than many people realise, there have been millions of men and women who have responded to that collective force termed spiritual energy.
The developments of understanding that are presently available to us are an extremely important part of our racial heritage when viewed as a whole.
The collective quality and ability of a race determines the aspect of universal awareness and energy of Love that they are able to develop. Some races are highly proficient in one area whilst others reach success with an entirely different approach.
Racial groups can take many thousands of years from the commencement of the understanding being developed until its achievable point of growth by them is reached, when this finally occurs the group begins to decline in abilities and capacity as it approaches what we term "old age"
In this manner new developments in spiritual understanding can be undertaken by the men and women who comprise the evolving racial group that replaces the one which is passing or has concluded its reason for existence.
Although the achievements of the people from our past are often not comprehended or are quite frequently misinterpreted by the views of the present outlook, they remain a definite and important part of the overall development of the human kingdom.
This gift of understanding a passing race leaves to those that follow is like one given in love from an adult to a child. Not one that is meant to dominate all thought but rather to act as a signpost and encouragement for future growth.
And so we progress as individuals and groups, members of the human kingdom, all working with and developing differing aspects of the one spiritual energy. Love.
This is the basis of the true history of humanity.
These events of change reflected in the centre we call the human kingdom by our conscious response to them also effect all other kingdoms.
As we work with awareness and varying degrees of success at developing and reflecting spiritual energy the form which contains this seed of consciousness increasingly becomes a prison as its capacity of response is extremely limited. Such a restriction requires a breaking of the form to release the seed for greater development.
This is the reason for the activity we call death. Although a condition frequently surrounded by sadness, pain and lack of understanding it is really one where the spiritual consciousness contained in such a way seeks to improve its form of expression.
From an acorn an oak tree grows.
The variations in spiritual energy that create such change effect the individual, the group, the race or nation and finally the entire human kingdom. The changes produced on the body by spiritual energy seeking greater freedom of expression can vary from either gradual to extreme.
The human kingdom and the entire planet is presently undergoing a change of great importance caused by a significant alteration in the quality or type of energy that flows through us all. This natural and cyclic event will enable the human kingdom to develop abilities in consciousness that are as yet dormant and to eventually produce societies that are capable of working with many aspects of spiritual energy.
Is it possible to see the response in our conscious outlook to this new incoming aspect of spiritual energy? This is definitely not difficult. Some people react with a clear awareness and a constructive desire to enhance this energy while in others the response is one of increasing blindness, fear and hostility.
All of us are equal members of the human family and any inequalities remain only in our own eyes. This is a point we all often forget. It is the privilege and requirement for each of us to respond to spiritual energies in the way of our own choosing and often we waste energy attempting to change in others what should not be changed.
When this occurs we weaken our own abilities of response and development. The intelligent approach particularly in this period is to reconise all who respond in the way we each find most comfortable and to work with them.
Spiritual energy should never be used as a weapon on those who walk a path that is different to our own. We are all members of the human kingdom and each of us no matter how dark and hostile we may appear, have within the Divine Spark.
If we wish to extinguish this fire it is our own choice; one which has been made by others before at great cost.
Whenever such changes of energy that the human kingdom is presently undergoing have occurred previously, and there has been many, there are always a series of events that accompany the change. One of the first indications is in the increasing number of men and women whose levels of awareness are stimulated to such a degree that in whatever work they do they act as points of attraction for others to respond to.
The work they carry out always has within it some aspect of the new quality of energy being displayed. These new ideas, ideals, and approaches are at first difficult to comprehend but they eventually act as a magnet for others who respond and slowly a group begins to develop.
Where this on flowing of new spiritual energy is successfully responded to and developed by group effort, it eventually becomes part of the collective quality of the immediate race and eventually the human kingdom.
These ideas being stimulated by a new aspect of spiritual energy always produce changes in our practical development and methods of growth.
They are reflected in religious understandings, scientific outlook and social development, with the greatest effect being seen in the hearts and minds of all who respond to them. Quite often such alterations of development produce upheavals of both an individual and racial nature, creating conditions which frequently the human kingdom has extreme difficulty adjusting to.
Wars that have produced massive alterations in our methods of growth, although often confused with the more limited view of national and political gain are the result of alterations in spiritual energy.
The unfortunate situation that man has allowed to develop is such that the greater the alterations in the natural flow of spiritual energy that occur the greater the social upheaval and war. This is always reflected in the human kingdom by those men and women who are totally resistant to any change whatsoever, preferring an outlook based on self interest and material gain with all the beliefs that consolidate this view.
In others however a greater understanding of the unity of the human kingdom produces increased need and demand to effect change. These can be in all areas of human endeavour and are seen where a humanitarian outlook based on Love is the aspiration.
All of us have responded to alterations of quality in spiritual energy in both manner and the limited view of self interest eventually, even if great lengths of time are involved, becomes that which is inclusive of each aspect of Life.
Although we accept consciously the energy of war and respond to it, this is not a natural condition of man, particularly when we consider the reality of the Divine Spark in each of us.
If the changes in our development caused by alterations in spiritual energy were better comprehended and responded to intelligently the extreme energy which produces war causing change would no longer occur. The concept of the production of weapons to avoid war is one which most of us regard as a necessity and yet it simply indicates a social order both mentally lazy and casual in outlook.
Future societies will comprehend the importance of the need for gradual change in response to alterations in spiritual energy by using patience and understanding to assist those people who find discomfort and difficulty.
This awareness and need is not new and was the basis of the impulse behind the growth of the United Nations. The intention was to develop and begin to apply the concept of mutual inter-dependency between people in all areas from education, economic exchange, trade and disarmament etc. The recognition was based on the individual importance of each man and woman and the collective significance of racial groups and nations living as members of the centre we call the human kingdom.
However as with all such attempt at development courage and foresight often give way to fear and blindness. The United Nations was no exception as the development and total control of the Security Council indicates.
Although the present organisation flounders in national political self interest and reduces its potential greatness once reached for to struggles to free itself from such restrictions, it does indicate the future possibilities for us all. The intent behind the United Nations was worthy of all humanity and even if we are aware or not, it is the most sensible approach in the practical response to alterations in spiritual energy.
A united collective approach by the human kingdom to develop greater understanding of spiritual energy and apply this awareness in all the practical activities of our daily growth sets up a condition which always creates a response.
When we successfully meditate or focus on an idea, individually there is a response from the soul which we receive as Light and Love, eventually being displayed in our conscious activities. Where this condition of meditation or focussing is undertaken by humanity the soul of the human kingdom always responds. This occurs even if we do not realise the collective nature of our individual efforts as we seek to improve the activity of service to each other.
Historically when such major changes to the type of spiritual energy happens, as is presently occurring, producing alterations of development and goals of achievement in the human kingdom, there is a significant reaction from the area of conscious called soul.
To assist such changes and oversee the development of a new race in humanity with increased abilities, always an Avatar or Being of Light appears.
A Son of God guides the sons of men with the energy and wisdom which establishes the next step and indicates the future for all people.
The period of change that the human kingdom is in the midst of is no exception. The efforts of each man and woman to seek and intelligently apply the energies of Light and Love are the guarantee and needed activities for a Son of God to walk amongst us all.
There are many who are already responding with strength to this need, being generally clearly visible in their activities.
Where this is seen no assistance is ever wasted. No effort is ever too small.
Light and Love do not occur without practical humanitarian effort, patience, understanding, strength, courage and a recognition of the beauty within all Life.
