previous Index next May the words of the Son of God be heard by all who Love
Much of what we understand of spiritual energy, and there is a large amount of knowledge amassed by people from our past who have made great effort in developing this awareness, it is still difficult to comprehend in the minds of many in the West. With such a preoccupation on the form that conscious spiritual energy takes, which has been a necessary development of the mind, there is an increasing difficulty to grasp what is represented when this energy is considered.
The more we regard the form or material body as being the most important object of our attention, the more it is difficult to grasp the understanding of the cause of the form.
When our outlook is set in a direction which excludes the concept of spiritual energy, it requires moments of peace, contemplation and meditation to begin to be aware of its presence in Life. Without this conscious understanding we are blind; here resides the great importance of meditation for all people who seek to overcome such blindness.
When meditation is done in the morning for a short period the understanding or strength gained can become a highly constructive part of the day's activities. This always has an enhancing effect on how we approach each other. If such periods of meditation were the only approach to comprehending spiritual energy they would not be wasted, much could be gained. How often have we felt the constructive energy of worthy humanitarian effort from another person, even in only a smile or word of understanding ?
However to improve the capacity to work with the spiritual energies of Light and Love, understanding of its development and the many forms that express this consciousness require study. The difficulty here is in the rather challenging developments that are required in consciousness, but where effort, patience and perseverance are used a response is always reflected in personal energy and outlook.
For most of us the easiest method is to watch our approach and response to others, for it is in this area that the knowledge of how different energies effect not only ourselves but other people with whom we come in contact can be regarded without difficulty.
Where there is discomfort or activities that produce friction there is an energy that can be regarded as in need of change.
Watching our actions and endeavouring to change restrictions of self-interest, greed or personal desire, etc, for those of practical service and brotherhood based on Love is really not greatly difficult once it has been started. Perhaps difficult to commence but don't we all respond to a challenge and certainly this is worthy of us all.
Now for the many people whose activity in these areas is generally fairly regular there becomes a need to develop a more comprehensive concept of the many different directions or methods of demonstration in forms that spiritual energy undergoes.
In working at study in this area initially the approach is to activate the dormant cells within the brain through the consideration of new ideas. This is the beginning of the activity termed abstract thought, which develops the ability to comprehend patterns of thought and bring them into focus.
Probably on of the best tools for developing this capacity of the mind is the ancient game of chess. This was a game whose original intent was for just such activity and has been used in this manner by many races and people for a considerable period of time.
The activation of the mind in such a way also requires similar developments in the creative abilities of a person. These can range from music, art or writing, etc, through to creative visualisation, all of which help to keep the mind in balance.
Activities that are produced by one who is developing the heart and mind in such a manner also, whether the person is aware or not, produce increases in the ability to work with spiritual energy.
Another approach again is to seek the knowledge readily available on the information concerning the structure of energy bodies and levels of consciousness as they come into contact with each other. Although not an easy development of mind where there is an intuitive response there can be found a potential for further understanding.
This requires initially high degrees of mental focusing. One of the major risks and one which many people who have endeveaoured in this field have succumbed to is in the development of the intellect and an aspiration for understanding based on pride not Love.
Here the mind is overly active whilst the heart remains dominant.
However when this activity is overcome, sometimes after much time, the person becomes increasingly aware of how all Life is connected and the beauty of the structure that is created.
When this happens the understanding of the Divine nature of spiritual energy becomes clearer. These activities very definitely produce results which can be seen in the conscious activities and levels of energy being radiated out. Each man and woman gift to the human kingdom new levels of Light and Love.
It is in this manner that the sons of men who know not yet that they are the Sons of God return and the Divine Spark in each strengthens.
These are some of the methods we can each work with and develop depending on our own ability as we begin to walk the Path of Return.
This spiritual energy consciously approached and enhanced by our efforts circulates through us and radiates out to all other Life. This is the Light in each of us and the one in the centre called the Human Kingdom.
Within the eye can be seen the fire of Love.
Within the fire is patience, understanding and compassion.
Within the activities undertaken is the reflection of the fire.
Each of us a son of man becoming with our efforts a Son of God. This is the spiritual energy of Light and Love that the soul, the eternal part of each of us seeks to express through our short lives on this plane of beauty.
The consciousness of each life that develops those aspects of energy that the soul seeks to express becomes eventually part of the body of the soul and represents the eternal quality of man. Within this body of energy known as the causal body, which is to be found on the plane of mind, are the conscious aspects of all the lives lived as expressions of the soul who have successfully worked with and developed spiritual energy. We can each reach this body consciousness when strength of focus is achieved on the plane of mind.
Writers in the past have referred to this collective energy as "the rain cloud of knowable things" as indeed it is. The improved use of meditation establishes contact with the causal body and each of us, perhaps initially with effort but later with ease, are capable of this approach.
As men and women in the past through lives of great learning have become more able to express the energies of the soul they have increasingly developed levels of consciousness that are more representative of the soul than they are of man. The soul eventually ceases to seek expression through man but contains all the knowledge and conscious energy developed by the many lives it has experienced in the dense material planes. All those conscious aspects of the soul stored in the causal body become part of the completing consciousness which is now focused towards the Spirit.
This is a Son of God.
The Christ who walked amongst people was a son of man who after experiencing many lives lived as we all do eventually became a Son of God. He was the first to express the energies of Light and Love without restriction, showing to all men and women the Path and the future.
This was the response from the Soul of the human kingdom to a change in the type of spiritual energy and our seeking and obvious need during that period. Love is always the first energy activated in conscious man. The great energy brought to the sons of men by the Christ was a level of pure Love never before experienced here.
Our response to this has been somewhat confused but the energy has never been extinguished and remains alive in many people. It is not needful to belong to a religion to have this energy as it is a natural quality of all of us. It matters not what colour, race, or set of beliefs we belong to as Love is a natural energy flowing through all who seek.
The Christ was a gift to all men and women, an active response from the Soul to the Human Kingdom.
Now there is another change of energy occurring which some are aware of and others not.
Each of us as expressions of soul are here to experience and respond in some manner to this change. To assist the reaction to the in flowing of new energy and its impacts upon our consciousness once more there will be a response from the greater Soul of the human kingdom. Once more there will be a Christ.
What we need to intelligently understand is that our individual contacts with this Great Consciousness differ and depend on the potential that has been reached by each of us. Roads walked in the past are not necessarily those of our present allowing those who seek the appearance of the Christ to look in new areas.
However always as we seek the spiritual energies of Light and Love and reflect them by our activities both qualities of the Christ can be found with ease.
The Sons of God guide the sons of men and have done so through vast periods of time but now we approach a new cycle where we guide ourselves towards the same Path with our own efforts. Man will succeed as the achievements from the past are reflected through each of us and can be clearly seen in the living form of the Christ, a Son of God. Although we do get confused and blind to reality, somehow through all the chaos there can be found Light and Love displayed as humanity, compassion, service, patience and hope.
This is the uniqueness of man. The spiritual energy flowing through all life does so through man with success. Each who respond a future Son of God.
As we work with spiritual energy individually its collective nature becomes increasingly evident and the circle of Light and Love strengthens.
