Energy Distribution and Purpose

In order to understand the purpose or directed will that is the cause of all phenomenal life within the objective world, it is necessary to develop a comprehensive awareness of the basic structure or blueprint representing the distribution of energy upon which each form expression is built.

This blueprint remains as a constant for all kingdoms and as will be seen, all planes. As energy develops in accordance with this symbolic structure, over vast lengths of time or greatly shortened periods, depending on the ability of each expression to respond, so consciousness grows.

Ultimately when complete development possible within a kingdom has been achieved by a specific consciousness contained within a particular form, that consciousness seeks expression in the next kingdom which offers further opportunities of growth. In the case of the human kingdom the next expression is the fifth kingdom, referred to as the Kingdom of Souls.

Always the natural growth is towards greater forms of conscious expression. This could reasonably be called the true evolutionary urge of all phenomenal life. Intelligently responded to or instinctively so, it represents a reaction to that force referred to as purpose or directed will, which is a constant of all form expression.

Within the Human Kingdom this energy of purpose can be opposed. Intentionally, which is not very usual, or where the instinctive response is overshadowed by a temporary energy such as that which we term materialism, the latter situation being more common. Both these conditions with their seeming advantage produce difficulties for that aspect of consciousness concerned as growth is endangered caused by a disruption of the natural flow of energy. However irrespective of all effort to oppose, although large periods of time may be needed, the force of will or purpose ultimately prevails.

Within all forms there are three separate and distinct types of energy which when developed and combined produce the natural potential of whatever phenomenal expression that is being considered. These energies are referred to as Fire and can also be described by the terms electrical, Divine Energy or Love.

These three fires permeate all kingdoms but it is only in the human kingdom where the energies begin to combine and be developed with conscious intent. This is the uniqueness of the human kingdom. It has the ability to consciously participate in its own development in relationship to those energies that constantly surround and infuse all life.

The first fire deals entirely with the activity of matter and can be understood as that energy which is the basis of the etheric body. Its center of energy for each form represents the latent energy of that expression. In the case of the human this center of energy is located at the base of the spine and has been called in Eastern writings, kundilini. This energy is termed negative, the term used only indicating the direction of energy flow. Without this fire the dense material body does not form.

The second fire concerns the vitality of soul energy; that energy from the subjective world which vitalises the etheric body. This energy can be understood as bringing about the synthesis of that force we call Father, Spirit or Life and that of matter or form. This activity which produces a balance of positive and negative energy results in that which is termed consciousness. Within the human kingdom this fire is the basis of the astral body.

The third fire deals with the Spirit or that energy that could be described as Will. This is the directed consciousness of a life we refer to as God and from the total limitation of human understanding to begin to, conceive of this expression all we can grasp is that this energy being supportive of all known existence is positive. Within the human kingdom this energy is the basis of the mental body.

These three differing electrical energies or distributions of divine force are the basis of all life. They permeate all kingdoms but are not necessarily all active. Only in the human kingdom does this begin. The development of these three fires with the consequent growth in consciousness and ability to absorb and radiate out energy is the principal purpose for all existence.

Within the etheric body are seven major centres of energy each with a distinctive function and represented in the dense physical human body by the glands of the endocrine system. What is not so well understood is that both the astral body and the mental body have material form also but not as dense as the physical body. Each of these bodies have seven centers which correspond with those found within the etheric body and when these centres are understood and developed the consciousness and purpose are increased.

This energy then increases the fire or electrical energy within the etheric body.

The following symbol can be seen to represent the three electrical fires described and the seven centres of energy in each. This represents the distribution of energy within the human kingdom both collectively and individually.

As the same symbol indicates the energy flow in all kingdoms in both the subjective and objective worlds, when meditation and contemplation are used correctly further understanding will develop.
