Your Hosts: Robin and Rick

Both New Zealand licensed captains, Rick is an Auckland native who left New Zealand on his yacht, in 1974, and Robin was born and raised in New York City. She was a sailing instructor for WOMANSHIP, in the Caribbean, while sailing has been Rick’s life for the last thirty years – he has some great stories!
With over 25 years cruising, from Cape Horn to the Caribbean, over 100,000 sea miles, they invite you aboard their live-aboard home.

Cruising in the Bay of Islands

We set sail at 10 am, from Russell. "We might see dolphins, penguins, gannets, shearwaters. We will definitely see some of the most fabulous scenery New Zealand has to offer."
Swim, or relax on board, or take a stroll when we reach our island; then enjoy a fantastic picnic lunch and good company.
The Bay of Islands is one of the world’s beautiful cruising grounds.
See it under sail, and get lost in the history. Imagine the whalers and the native canoes.
